Getting Nuffnang cheque on monthly basis is not a problem at all for me now. It is because of the RM50 as the cash out limit. Well, here you are… My 6th Nuffnang cheque.

My 6th Nuffnang cheque.
However, getting Advertlets cheque is another story. Some of the bloggers did not get any cheque from Advertlets (Updated: Josh Lim called. He said that the case was resolved.) even after the cash out status turned to ‘Sent’. Same applied to my friend. Hmm… She is too lazy to deal with Josh Lim. What to do? Leave it then…
No worry about Nuffnang payment as I already received 6 of them. However, do be careful when dealing with Advertlets. You might get hurt then…

I heard nuffnang is really picky when choosing publishers. I’m not sure how it works. Does it pay by per click like AdSense? Why is nuffnag more profitable to you? I’m interested to find out.

I am not sure about the picky stuff. Nuffnang has both CPC and CPM. AdSense is still the best income for me. Nuffnang is good if you have lot of Malaysia and Singapore visitors.

I hate advertisers that combine CPC and CPM. around half of my visitors come from US and probably 30 percent from malaysia and singapore. Lst week I got more than a thousand impressions but Adsense didn’t pay me a penny so I removed the banners and replaced with text link ads since they do not attract clicks. Guess what? I immediately received 2 clicks. I think CPM is just a way to attract people to use banners but Adsense never pay small sites for putting them. I felt cheated.

AdSense is not good in CPM. However, AdSense is good in CPC. So make sure that you place your Ads in the correct place. Else nobody will click on it.

I like your way of placing a text link ad in your left sidebar. Does it do better than the other ads in your blog?

I started putting up text link ad last week only. It is the second performing Ads. The best is still the top large rectangular ad.

you mean the horizontal banner below the header? That’s an image ad. I’m surprised that an image ad performs better than a text ad.

Nope. It is the ad below the every post title. I selected text and image. Therefore, it will show both text ads and image ads.

By the way, I see that there’s a donation button on your blog. Does it work? I mean do people make donations? I know it’s for charity but wonder whether you have ever receive such donations.

Hi Jayce,
I just started on Nuffnang. I notice the nuffnang ads are not many and most of the time, there’s no ads displayed on web pages (in comparison to Google Adsense). Do you encountered the same issue?

Nuffnang metered campaign and normal campaign ads will be shown at Malaysia, Singapore and now Philippines IP only. While global_CPC ads can be see on any IP. But not all the time have ads.
However, Nuffnang is still the best local online advertiser in Malaysia so far.

If there’s an ad showing, does it mean I get paid per CPM? any idea what the rates are?
Please clarify. Thanks Jayce.
Jayce

Nope. It must be show in your earning as CPM. Else it is CPC ads.
As for CPM rate… It is based on ‘band’. The higher the band == the higher the pay.

I see that Nuffnangs has recorded unique visits at my site. Last week alone I got more than a hundred unique visitors but surprisingly my earnings are still 0.00 …sad. What’s going on? I still don’t know how to tell whether an ad is a CPC or CPM. Please HELP! (Begging on my knees) I want MONEY from Nuffnang so badly! LOL

It will show at Nuffnang Earning column as CPC or CPM. Try to look for them but you need to have ads serve at your website first. Else no data will come out.

I’m afraid. I don’t have an earning column . I’ve posted a Nuffnang unit for more than a week now. I see a nice chart in my nuffnang account showing the number of unique visitor per day but earnings are still 0. sad. sad sad

Hmm… I only see 1 Nuffnang ad on your main page. Ads location is important. It apply to Google AdSense. Same apply to Nuffnang too. Make sure that you give Nuffnang ads a good place. Else no advertiser will going to pick your blog to advertise.

Thanks for another great tip!!! One more question, I do see an ad every now and then. What does that mean? There are advertisers advertising on my blog? But my earnings show 0. Does that mean those advertisements are CPC based?
As you can see, I’m trying to understand how nuffnang works. I’ve never seend an ad that closes and opens based on IP. Adsense banners always show an ad, no matter what. That’s why I’m confused.
Jayce
September 5th, 2008 at 9:08 pm
Yes. I believe that is CPC ad. It will come and go. And you can see Google AdSense always showing ads because they have a lot of advertisers. I don’t think Nuffnang have much volume of advertisers compare to Google AdSense.
For your info, I don’t any metered campaign or normal campaign for this make money blog from Nuffnang. I only got it at JayceOoi.com and PrettyGirl2u.com

I have checked out your prettygirl2u. I must say they make me horny…LOL
I’m sorry. I’m still new to internet advertising so I don’t understand what is metered campaign or normal campaign. Couldl you explain a little?
Jayce

Haha… Just enjoy PrettyGirl2u.com when free.
As for the campaign, I think Nuffnang has posted it on its blog. You can check it there.

Now I’ve learned what a metered campaign is (they are basically CPM ads if I get it right). May I know what the average rate are?
Jayce
September 8th, 2008 at 10:02 am
Yes. Metered campaign is CPM ads. But too bad that I don’t know the rate yet. So far, it is lower than normal campaign because the ads does not show all the time for that particular week.

I see. So all your nuffnang ads are global CPC ads which require your visitors to click them. I don’t like CPC ads mainly because my visitors don’t click much. Something is wrong with their mouse! LOL
If you have any suggestions on how to make my visitors click more, please let me know. I took your advice and placed nuffnang ads in the header and sidebar. Hope nuffnang advertisers like them. (wonder when I’ll get an email from them)
Jayce
September 8th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
Yup. All Nuffnang ads at MakeMoney.JayceOoi.com are CPC based. Nuffnang still don’t want to give me any campaign to run on this site.
By the way, you won’t get any email for metered campaign. Email only apply to normal campaign.

I haven’t received any emails from them other than the account confirmation…sad. What’s a normal campaign? I don’t think you mean Global CPC ads?
sorry for my endless questions. There’s a lot for me to learn.
