Please read my previous posts about Advertlets to know the background. It is a very long story and I do not want to repeat them over here. In short, Advertlets denied 2 of my cash out on 15 July and 31 August 2007 with click fraud as reason. Below is the daily earning report sheet taken from Advertlets beta website.

Advertlets was good before September 2007. It turned bad since September 2007 because the earning dropped sharply. And Advertlets started accuse bloggers for click fraud. I was one of the victims back then. I stopped showing Advertlets Ads back in December 2007.

Josh Lim promised that all the delayed cash out would be sent out according to the schedule Advertlets set. However, I still see bloggers do not receive payment after cash out. More and more bloggers do not get what they deserve.

You can continue serve Advertlets Ads. However, just make sure that you have the time to send a lot of emails, issue support tickets and even call Josh Lim himself to get your payment. I did all these painful steps in order to get my payment.

Josh Lim called me . We talked for quite some time. He… He… All our conversations are private and confidential. This is my first time talking to Josh Lim himself. Hmm… He is willing to call me during off office hour to settle on my case. (This is good). And he really wants to solve my issue here too. Oh well, should I give him another chance?

Hi Jayce,

It is unfortunate that you chose to go public with your complaint instead of checking with us first. Your cheque was processed on the 29th of April from our end, and was most likely sent out by the bank around the 3rd of May to the 5th of May.

Given that our central bank is in KL and that your address is in Kedah, and the “reliability” of the Malaysian postal service, it should reach you sometime between the 13th of May to the 20th of May.

While the delay is longer than most cheques should take to arrive, your Cashout history and invalid site activity are key reasons to why you’re receiving your cheque later than most, as we have to exercise more caution in determining invalid earnings.

Advertlets Support

Josh Lim accused me for click frauds last year and now accuses me for not checking with Advertlets Support and him first. And make all of this go public. Come on… Did you check your email and Advertlets Support Ticket ELI-814706 before replied this email? I created a support ticket on 10 March 2008. And my last reply on the ticket is 2 May 2008. Same go to the email. (See the ticket ELI-814706 and email in picture). I am the one that still waiting for your reply. My first public post – Advertlets – The slowest payment advertisement company in town was published on 7 May 2008 after no reply from Advertlets Support and Josh Lim himself. Have I done anything wrong?

Josh Lim lied to me. He said that my first Advertlets cheque will arrive on middle of April. (See email in picture). And now he said that my first Advertlets cheque was processed on the 29th of April from their end on his latest email above. So which one is the correct one? Based on the ticket ELI-814706, Advertlets should have a post at its blog to mention about my case on 7 April 2008. Did you see any post related to this issue back then? I don’t. I just found out the post on 10 May 2008 and it is more than a month delay. So all the payment schedule on that post might be delayed too (if you still lucky to get it ). Besides, Josh Lim can’t even launch Advertlets 2.0 on its birthday as promised on 14 Feb 2008 blog post. And I doubt the Advertlets Titan program is running too.

Thanks for innit by Nuffnang, which made my post be known by everyone. (See innit in picture.). Some of the loyal Advertlets bloggers start to make noise too. Said that don’t want to put Advertlets ad anymore. (See comments in picture). So what is your call? Keep serving Advertlets ad?

The best way and the only way to get Advertlets’ attention is by positing an article at your blog. Why? Josh Lim himself doesn’t have the time to reply to all the tickets at Advertlets Support and emails. However, he got time to leave comment at this very new blog where nobody knows about it. I did not do any marketing yet so the traffic is very low. (See Make Money traffic statistic in picture). I posted – Advertlets – The slowest payment advertisement company in town on 6pm. And I get reply from Advertlets Support on 8:34pm. Wow, that is really fast. However, when you do the normal way – submit ticket at Advertlets Support. Here is what you will get. A reply after nearly a month. (See the ticket ELI-814706 in picture). Then, I tried my luck by posting a comment on Advertlets.com blog. Yeah. I got email. In the email reply, I should able to get my cheque on middle of April. (See Advertlets Support Email reply in picture). However, I did not get anything from Advertlets until now. Do you get your Advertlets cheque lately? Or ever?

Whenever I ask for my Advertlets cheque. The first reply will be -"We noticed a significant amount of click fraud at your blog ". Does it sound familiar to you? Do you get the same response when you ask for your Advertlets cheque?

Actually, the battle already started since on my post – King of complain is backed!!! . Josh Lim himself leaves comment at there too. See the 3rd comment. I was doing benchmarking on both Nuffnang and Advertlets back then. Josh Lim said, "Good luck with your benchmark, we will always endeavour to improve our service Let me know personally (at this e-mail) if any of your requests ever go unanswered, and I will look into it. Cheers. ". I also got ’special treatment’ by Josh Lim himself back in 2007. He rejected my first and second cash out. His reason == click fraud lo. What else? (See the whole email conversation between me and Josh Lim in picture). This is interesting, do read it. Come on, I just want to see the click fraud that he claimed. He asked me to go to court pula. Aiyo… And he requested me to remove all his replies on post – King of complain is backed!!! on his email. (See his email reply in picture). What? Cannot show other? Let me show you what I have…

Josh said that my blog – Jayce Ooi’s Paradise had significant amount of click fraud until the end of August 2007. Therefore, he denied my 2 RM100 cheque. (See my Advertlets dashboard in picture). And the third RM100 still in processing since 18 Dec 2007 cash out. Jayce Ooi’s Paradise has around 100 to 150 daily visits during 10 Jun to 27 Oct 2007. (See the traffic stat in picture). Nuffnang and Google AdSense did not deny my earning during that time. What’s wrong with Advertlets? I earned US$35 for AdSense and RM50 for Nuffnang during that period. (See AdSense earning and Nuffnang earning in picture). Due to the limitation of Advertlets system, I can only retrieve earning data from 20 Nov to 21 Dec 2007. (See Advertlets earning in picture). Do you see significant amount of click fraud in my AdSense, Nuffnang and Advertlets earning report? No, right? How can Josh lim see it? I wonder…

Jayce Ooi’s Paradise does not have Advertlets Ad since 21 Dec 2007 due to unprofessionally Josh Lim himself. I don’t trust Advertlets since then. And Josh Lim still let me down even now. Jayce Ooi’s Paradise has around 400 to 700 daily visit now. (See JayceOoi.com current traffic stat in picture). I am thankful to all my readers. And I am getting around US$40 for AdSense and RM80 for Nuffnang monthly right now. I am very happy with it.

Did you notice Advertlets tagline is "advertiser + bloggers = money + happy"? However, I did not feel any happy at all since I joined Advertlets. I just know that the money is in Josh Lim’s pocket, not mine.

Thanks for reading my long sharing about Advertlets. Actually, there are a lot more to write. But I am too lazy already. I gave Josh Lim 3 chances. But he picked his way. Oh well, I guess my Advertlets earning is gone. Give Advertlets free advertising at my blog for nothing. And help him write 3 reviews some more. How about your Advertlets earning? Still coming?

My advice to those still have Advertlets Ad on your blog. Think… Think… Think… Should you still put Advertlets Ad after reading my sharing? Don’t trust me? Fine, just search at Google for Advertlets bad news.

Do you notice that I do not have Nuffnang Ad on this blog? I am trying to give Advertlets my final chance by putting up Advertlets Ad on this blog. However, looking at these complaints…

Should I give Advertlets another chance? And when will my first Advertlets arrive?

Advertlets was the first local online advertisement company that selected in Jayce Ooi’s Paradise . I joined Advertlets on 28 May 2007. I put a lot of hope in this local company during that time. It was better than Nuffnang back then. I managed to get RM50 by writing a review on Advertlets in its RM15,000 for 300 Bloggers Program! Another RM25 for StarCeleb.tv review . Lastly, another RM20 for StarCeleb.tv Roadshow Event Announcement . Besides paid post, a website should have some income on the advertisement. That is the main purpose that I joined Advertlets. However, Advertlets did not want to pay me for what I deserve. And stated that there are a significant amount of click frauds. Therefore, Advertlets denied my 2 cash out on June and August 2007. See what Josh, Advertlets CEO said to me on King of complain is backed!!! post.

Advertlets forfeited all my earning. After complained… Advertlets bla… bla… bla… Give me back RM90 (hey, it should be RM95) in the end. So I decided to give a chance to Advertlets so that I can cash out again when I reach RM100. Finally, I cashed out again in 18 December 2007. It is 7 May 2008 now. After 5 months since I cashed out. I still did not receive any cheque from Advertlets. Of course, I did complain again on 10 March 2007. And Advertlets did the same bla… bla… bla… again and again. What did I do? I removed all the Advertlets advertisement at Jayce Ooi’s Paradise. What is the point of putting Advertlets advertisement when it do not pay at all?

So… How long will I need to wait for this first Advertlets cheque?

For your information, I received 2 cheques from Nuffnang and 1 payment from Google AdSense already. Third Nuffnang cheque is coming very soon. Advertlets is way too slow in everything.

Think twice before sign up with Advertlets. The cash out limit is RM100. You need a very long time to get it if you blog traffic is low. And Advertlets might deny your cash out then.
