Enable Allowed Sites in Google AdSense?

I set my own domains on Allowed Sites in Google AdSense last 2 months. Somebody was trying to sabotage me by clicking lot of the ads. I had no choice and enable own domains to be counted in Google AdSense only. However, I discovered that it was not a perfect move. Yes, it does stop the sabotage act but it also reduces my Google AdSense earning. Why?

Okay, not every visitor will come to your website directly. For example, a visitor translated your website using Google Translate. Google AdSense does not detect your website address but Google Translate address. Therefore, the earning is not counted there. Besides Google AdSense, Nuffnang also use that method to display its ads. But we can’t do anything here.

Yes. Google AdSense is still the best online income generator for me. And I just received the largest payment from Google AdSense using Western Union last month. I am glad that I am still able to get monthly payment from Google AdSense. Still targeting to break USD 200 level in near future. Need to work hard to break it.

Yes. My 7th Google AdSense payment received. I forgot to post it after withdrew it using Western Union at Public Bank. By the way, I also forgot to mention that the clerks at Public Bank are interested to make money online too. They asked me how I got this money. They are really curious and serious on the payment that I have.

By the way, do you trust me that I earn this Google AdSense payment every month? I am good in Adobe Photoshop. I can make the payment picture easily with Photoshop.

Western Union rate is based on Google AdSense payment date? Yes, it is true based on my pass 3 months experience. I started withdraw Google AdSense payment by using Public Bank Western Union service since September. I withdrew 3 times in total. I even complaint that Public Bank Western Union Rate is low. I was wrong back then. Actually, Western Union rate is calculated based on Google AdSense payment date. Therefore, no matter when you withdraw it, you still get the same Western Union rate.

Okay, you want some facts? Here you are. I got my 4th Google AdSense payment on August 26, 5th on September 24 and 6th on October 23. The Western Union rates are USD1 == RM 3.3575, USD 1 == RM 3.3858 and USD 1 == RM 3.537. They are matched to Bank Negara Malaysia Interbank Foreign Exchange Market rate. Here is the history buying rate from August until October. By the way, I did not withdraw them on the same payment date. No one can I believe. It needs 3-4 days to process the Western Union payment.

6th Google AdSense payment? Are you sure? Wow… I don’t believe that I still manage to get Google AdSense payment on monthly basis. Thanks to all my fellow readers. Without all of you, I am nothing.

As usual, I get my Google AdSense payment using Western Union. And I used Public Bank Western Union service to withdraw it this morning. The Public Bank staff who served me for the pass 3 times finally asked me, “What is this payment? How do you get it?” This is the power of blogging! You get pay when you blog.

AdSense for Feeds. I have been using FeedBurner for quite some time. I did not serve any advertisement on any of my blog feeds. However, after Google take over FeedBurner. Here comes AdSense for Feeds. And I am thinking to try it out. Will update more when I get some idea of it.

Did you manage to get Google AdSense payment last month? I did. And this is the largest cash out for far because it consists 2 months earning. I like Google for using Western Union. The cash out process is much simpler with it. FAST – I can say. However, too bad that the CIMB Bank’s Western Union agent system was down when I wanted to cash out. I changed to BSN Bank. And the process over there was very slow. It took them more than 20 minutes to cash out while CIMB Bank took less than 5 minutes only.

Track Google AdSense individual ad unit performance with channel

Do you know how your Google AdSense ad units performance? Can you identify on individual ad unit or just a total of all the ad units? Well, some of us did not care with it at all. All they need to know that Google AdSense is bringing earning to them. That’s fine. However, with little tweak on channel setting. You can actually earn more. How?

I am also like the other beginner too. No channel for me. However, my Google AdSense earning really improve after set channel on the ad units. Of course, by setting the channel won’t help improve the income directly. However, with channel, you can track your individual ad unit performance. Then, with better ad unit placement. Your Google AdSense will surely improve.

I have several channels to track all the ad units’ performance. There are some of them…
Leaderboard – top
Large Rectangle – top
Large Rectangle – post
Leaderboard – top (forum)
Large Rectangle – top (MM)

Choose the correct name for them. So that you will easily know which one is the correct channel. For example, I have 2 Large Rectangle ad units at JayceOoi.com. I name them Large Rectangle – top and Large Rectangle – post. Large Rectangle – top is the ad unit placed right after the post title and before content. On the other hand, Large Rectangle – post is placed after the content and before the comment. (forum) means my forum website. And (MM) means this Make Money website.

Put Google AdSense Ads at the right place

Google AdSense is using pay per click (PPC) method. Therefore, it is required to place the Ad units at the right place at your website. Else nobody or less people will click on your Ads. So how are we going to know which place is the best place? Practice make perfect… Just try placing the ad units at several places. Changing them after few weeks. Don’t be afraid to play around. You will know the highest pay rate place at your website after few months.

For example, my website – JayceOoi.com has a good ad unit spot – Large Rectangle – top. It contributes most of the income for Google AdSense. It has around 1.2% click through rate (CTR) while other ads only have around 0.2% to 0.4% CTR. I only started to put there after months of serving Google AdSense. Anyway, it is not too late for me and you. Just change to the correct place to gain more earning.

Here are the things you need to do.
1. Get a good layout that suits you.
2. Place the ad units at the right places.
3. Change around the ad units’ placement until you get a good earning spot.

I use “AdSense for Content” for all my websites. There are Ad unit (which consist of text and image Ad) and Link unit. Both of them will bring income to you. You can see some Ad units on my website – Jayce Ooi’s Paradise. Most of them are PPC (Pay per click) Ads. You will get paid when other click on the Ads. Another one is PPV (Pay per view) Ads. You will earn some income when the Ads are displayed at your website. But PPV Ads pay less than PPC Ads. Therefore, better stick to PPV Ads unless you have a lot of page hits.
