As usual, February is the shortest month of the year. Only 28 days for year 2010. And online income which counts by day also got affected. Anyway, my blogs’ income is stable. Or should I say traffic. I took 1 week off during Chinese New Year holidays to Johor, Malaysia. Did not blog anything at all. However, the daily traffic and earning does not reduce much (or at all). Traffic was low (dropped 15%) on 1st day of Chinese New Year as most of us were celebrating the big event including me.

I told myself long time ago. Write 1 article at least each day. I manage to do so on Pretty Girl 2u only. Why? No brain is needed on PrettyGirl2u articles. I just need to find, edit the girls’ photos and schedule to post them. So I get lot of money from it? Nope, easy tasks == low return.

Writing quality, current trend, popular keywords articles do help to bring more traffic. For example, Dell UltraSharp U2410 Review post. I knew that I am going to get some traffic based on this review. So I bought this monitor on September 2009. By the way, it is not cheap ~ RM1799. 200+ page views in the first 2 weeks. Around 150 page views after that and getting 100 page views nowadays. Finally, total 21,986 page views as at now.

It took me several days to write this article. I need to run lot of testings. But it is worth the effort based on the return. However, you will get the same traffic or even more sometime with less effort if your keywords are matched to the current searching trend. Never stop get updated with latest info and knowledge. You will get more in return when you are in the front end of the technology.

Yeah… The first month of year 2010. How is the Internet income? Oh no… It dropped a lot. As expected, most of the earning back to the normal rate. No more holidays season. ADSDAQ earning fall back to normal from turbo mode and payment was delayed. JayceOoi.com traffic increased some but the earnings are not. Most of the advertising companies’ ad inventories are low. But look at the bright side, Infolinks is not the last anymore. It overtook ADSDAQ…

Getting RM 2,000 per month is hard. Getting RM 3,000 is even harder. How much visitors per day should I need in order to get RM 4,000 per month? I checked Google Analytics traffic and the earning for the pass few months.

RM 500 == 500 visitors
RM 800 == 1,500 visitors
RM 1,200 == 2,300 visitors
RM 1,900 == 3,300 visitors
RM 4,000 == ?? visitors

So RM 4,000 only needs around 7,000 visitors, right? Not exactly but it is near I think. The earning does not come in this way. Google AdSense and Infolinks depend on keyword rate, CTR, articles and visitors behavior while Innity, Nuffnang and ADSDAQ depend on ad inventories. To be safe, my target…

RM 5000 == 10,000 visitors.

Here come another question… How long will I need in order to get 10,000 visitors per day?

I changed blog layout last month. Removed Google AdSense leaderboard ad. The earning is about the same. But Infolinks earning is getting better. Will continue to improve the layout and earning.

Yeah… ADSDAQ revenue is getting better and better each month. By the way, Innity is good in figure only. I still did not receive any payment from Innity yet. Based on its FAQ, I should get the September and October payments by now. Example, for 16th April – 30th April revenue, paid within 30 days after 30th April (i.e. by 30th May). Hmm… When can I receive Innity payment?

Yeah… It is time for questions and answers. I got several questions regarding make money online. I think it is better to share with all of you.

1. How do you know the Innity ads whether it’s CPM or CPC running on your blog?
Nope. Innity report does not show the type of ads that running on your blog. Innity team will send you email when there is a campaign running on your blog. It maybe CPC, CPM, Site Take Over and others.

2. I found that when I put Nuffnang ads as backup ads in ADSDAQ, the preview is getting some error. The error message say make sure your blog ads is putting correctly. Or because I don’t get any Nuffnang ads while preview.
Make sure you put the correct Nuffnang ad code. For your info, Nuffnang ads only work on the domain that you register with Nuffnang. Therefore, it is okay to see “Error matching blog to blogger entry. If you are the owner of this blog, please check that there is no typo in your blog address and that you have pasted the code from the Add Ads page correctly.” error like below.

3. ADSDAQ, I put the AskPrice for 728X90 = $1.50, and 300X250 = $1.50. Is it too high or too low?
There is no right and wrong on how much AskPrice to set. Personally, $1.50 is the minimum that I set. Some ads are $3.00 and $5.00 for the best Google AdSense spot ~ Large rectangle (Just below article title). ADSDAQ earning depends on US traffic. More US traffic == more revenue.

Yes! My Internet income broke RM 2,000 level finally. Although it is just a spike that cannot maintain, but I am happy with it. Google AdSense was the only one that brought less revenue. CPM Ads did help a lot when traffic increased. Nuffnang and Innity fought very hard and ended Nuffnang won the game in October after loss in September. “Nuffnang vs Innity”, which one will be the winner in the end?

Innity Performance Network is a bright star (when I get the payment. It delayed September payment. Else I should get it by now. Hopefully, it won’t happen on October payment as well). No payment (or delay payment) makes me thinking of Advertlets. Advertlets is still not paying bloggers nowadays. And getting payment from Advertlets is a tough task. You need to write blog post to ask for your payment like I did. Else you will end up getting nothing.

Remember… More traffic will bring more revenue.

Traffic == Income

Yup. The more traffic that you get from your websites, the higher income you will get. I am on turbo mode early this month when ADSDAQ performed extremely well (for few days only) and turbo mode again this few days when Innity Performance Network is crazy also. Woo… I am a little bit tired but happy with the result.

Getting 5000 visitors per day is still a very far way to go. Maybe I set a too high target already. 3000 daily visitors should not be a problem on JayceOoi.com next birthday. Hmm… Need to work hard to reach there.

2 days left on October. On my daily checking on revenue (yup. I do daily checking on online income), October should be the highest income month so far. Nuffnang and Innity are fighting very strong. But Innity might not able to beat Nuffnang due to less CPM ads show already. And it still has RM100 to go. A very tough fight indeed. By the way, both of them beat ADSDAQ. Wow…

However, November is another story. Nuffnang don’t have much earning to bring over. Innity should win Nuffnang easily if performance is maintained. Innity == a bright new star? Yes, when I get the first payment.

Yeah… ADSDAQ is on turbo mode. Huh? What is turbo mode? Oh, I mean the ADSDAQ revenue increase a lot lately. I received an email from ADSDAQ stated that lots of new advertisers on ADSDAQ network on Q4 2009. This mean more revenue for publishers.

First 2 days earning on October

Wow… USD 14.00 for the first 2 days of October. This is great. I got around 3-5% fill rate normally. And it increased to 10% fill rate right now. If this continues until end of month, ADSDAQ earning will be more than double.

So what are you waiting for? Get more traffic for your website. I am also in turbo mode now.

Welcome Innity Performance Network to the advertising family. Innity bought very good revenue last month. A detail review will be coming up. Besides Innity, all the other advertising networks’ revenue increased except Google AdSense due to I replaced some Google AdSense ad placements with Innity. Hmm… Before I started to write this post. I felt that this month earning will be less than previous month. Why? Because of Google AdSense. Google AdSense provides most of the Internet income. It dropped US$ 30 from previous highest level due to keywords pay rate was down. However, most of the other income sources increase. Make money online? Yes, I was busy with online stock trading lately. The earning is way better than these below but you need to take the risk when stock market goes down…

I tried Innity Performance Network last month. Was not happy with the 2 weeks earning and support response. So I took the code down. After that, I received some ad campaign emails from Innity Media. Therefore, I put back the code back on 31 August. By the time I wrote, I discovered that the Innity backup ad function is not working. Hmm… Are you using Innity Performance Network? Do you face the same issue as I do?

Innity ~ another local advertising company that founded in 1999. I just know it this year. Anyway, I don’t trust local advertising company much after Advertlets payment issue. I saw Deimos Tel`Arin tested Innity and said that did not like how it performed. I don’t want to try Innity after seeing that. However, Edward Khoo commented that Innity is better than Nuffnang. And he earned RM40++ per day from Innity. Woo, this is good. Therefore, I decided to give a try myself. Failed with PrettyGirl2u.com submission. Tried again with JayceOoi.com and approved.

I tested Innity Performance Network with 3 common ads ~ rectangle, leaderboard and skycraper ads. Played them around for 2 weeks. The earning for first 5 days looks good. It had some CPM ads running. However, there are same ads running on the sixth day but no paid impressions at all. After that, just a little 62 paid impressions on 8th and 1 paid impression on 10th. I started to wonder how Innity Performance Network system works…

The is a backup ad function in Innity which it called Alternate Ad Management. It should display your backup ad when there are no Innity targeted ads running. However, it does not work properly (did not display my backup ad) and have no option to turn off CPC ads. Who want to have image CPC ad? The click rate is way too low. I like ADSDAQ, it will only display its CPM ads and display your backup ad while no in house ads. I want to have CPM image ads only. CPC is for text ads.

Another thing that I don’t like most ~ no reply when ask question. I submitted a support ticket asking ‘Why no Paid Impressions on 10 August 2009′ on 11 August 2009. I resubmitted again with Innity contact us page the next day. No reply at all until now. Same like Advertlets ~ no reply when asking for payment. Only reply when you blog about it. Come on, please be a little bit professional.

We don’t like to see server to be offline. I faced problem to load my websites that publish ADSDAQ ads this morning. After troubleshooting, I discovered that it was ADSDAQ that causing the problem. I waited for 6 hours and the problem is still there. I removed all the ADSDAQ ad codes in the end. Took me around 15 minutes to update website theme.

This is the first time that I faced server issue with ADSDAQ from ContextWeb since last 1 year. No server has 100% uptime. Just make sure that we do preventive action to keep the business running. No worry. ADSDAQ will be back online soon. Hopefully no data was loss.

Yes! Google AdSense broke USD 250 level. Another historical record high of USD 251.86. I like this kind of income source ~ passive income. All you need to do is writing article on your blogs, you can schedule the posts too. No time constraint like office work from 0800 to 1730. However, not everyone can make money online. Time is needed and the correct way of doing so is the most important. You will end up with nothing if you don’t know the correct path and waste lot of energy.

What do you think?

There are several sizes ads that you can select from. The AskPrice that I put are $1.50, $3.00 and $5.00. Each of them have different fill rate. Just play around the AskPrice to get the best earning for your site.

Oh, I have around 5% fill rate only. Putting high AskPrice will lower the fill rate.

Follow by Pretty Girl 2u and SP Blogger. ADSDAQ also performed better than usual. Passed USD 50 cash out limit. Infolinks earning increased too.

And I just managed to withdraw the payments. B&H Photo Video paid in cheque. How much will I get when I clear a US cheque? I have USD 20.63 only. Which bank in Malaysia offers the lowest charges to clear US cheque? I don’t want to lose my precious money to the bank charges.

Time flied… It passed another month again. Time to calculate my Internet income. I was able to cash out Nuffnang earning this month. Nuffnang consist 2 months earning this round. US$ 105.06 (RM 371.81) / 2 == US$ 52.53 (RM 185.90). Nuffnang earning is getting better than usual RM 100 range. Way to go Nuffnang!

Google AdSense broke its all time high again ~ the highest earning that I got for Google AdSense on January 2009. Looking forward to break US$ 200 record.

Infolinks had a very good first week result ~ US$ 0.73 daily average. Earning started to slowdown after the first week then. And I got US$ 0.49 daily average in the end. Infolinks earning almost double when compare to Kontera (US$ 0.26 daily average). This is a better in-text advertising that I had. Any in-text advertising company better than Infolinks?

I started to post my Internet income on April last year. I got US$ 90.4 (RM 280.24) only that time. And I got US$ 342.36 (RM 1207.99) after 1 year. That’s 278.71% increment in my Internet income. I love it. Can you get this kind of increment when you are employed? Therefore, stop looking around for higher pay salary job. And start having your own website to generate income online!

How much will be March 2009 earning? This is the question I asked myself before writing this post. Why I ask? Nuffnang did not meet the cash out limit (RM50) on March. Therefore, no Nuffnang earning will be counted for this month. However, I publish another new in-text advertising company ads ~ Infolinks. It replaced the poor performing Kontera. And it gets better earning than Kontera.

I just started to test In-Text Advertising from Infolinks. And now ADSDAQ ContextWeb also comes out its own In-Text Advertising. ADSDAQ is the best CPM advertising that I ever use. It is serving me very well nowadays with daily earning around USD 2.00. How is the new In-Text Ads going to perform?

February is the shortest month of the year. And the Internet income also reflex to it ~ getting smaller amount for all the income sources. ADSDAQ’s fill rate is getting lesser and lesser. Therefore, income from ADSDAQ dropped from normal range US$ 50 ~ 55 to US$ 35 only. Overall, I still manage to get above RM 800 due to poor Malaysia Ringgit (RM) ~ US$ 1.00 == RM 3.684.

By the way, I dumped Text Link Ads (inLinks). Why? I can’t seem to get it work on my blog. After emailing Text Link Ads support several times, they still can’t solve the issue. I kept getting warning letter stated that the widget is not working on my site. Oh well, what should I do? Removed it is the best way. Google will be happy to see that anyway…
