Time flied… Year 2009 had become history. A bright new year 2010 is in front of us. Let’s us fight for our future. And review our performance in the past…
There was a spike in traffic during January to March 2009 because I changed the Google Analytics code to header from footer (You can have more traffic this way because some visitors did not wait until your page to finish loading and left).
611,650 visits in year 2009 ~ 213.97% increased from year 2008. And broke 1 million pageviews ~ 1,029,483 pageviews (195.80% increased from year 2008).
Year 2010 will be a better year. And target to have more than 5000 daily visitors and Google PageRank 5 (PR4 at least, now still PR3). Okay, let’s fight for it. 
Yup. Jayce Ooi’s Paradise manages to get itself to top 50 of top 100 Malaysian blogs. It is a list of blogs comes out by Adi Wong. You can check out the lists at here.

The ranking is based on Alexa and Technorati. Personally, I don’t like Alexa because it does not reflex the actual visit or page view. Some websites which have very low traffic but have very high rank in Alexa. Technorati is about the same. If the blogs does not clawed by Technorati spider, there are not counted. So you will have low ranking if most of your incoming links are from non-technorati clawed blogs.

I ran several marketing campaigns ~ RM210 (US$63) cash giveaway at JayceOoi.com to bring traffic to JayceOoi.com last month, September. So how much traffic did I gain during the whole campaigns? Is it worth to continue the campaigns this month?
I checked Google Analytics data for September. The traffic did not increase at all for referral traffic and direct visit. Or should I say that JayceOoi.com traffic dropped compare to August traffic. Besides, it also took some of my time to come out the contest questions, post the gifts to winners and other more… So that is a NO to continue running these campaigns.
I might continue to run the referral campaign because that really brings traffic to JayceOoi.com. Oh well, let’s continue to monitor and see.
