Err… Busy with JayceOoi.com lately. Almost put all the time and effort there. And did not study much on stock market at all. Therefore, did not update spBlogger.com at all for almost a month. I noticed that SP Blogger traffic dropped 30% after no update for long period. Google search engine traffic dropped. Seem like Google search engine does not like inactive website.
So I am writing this to keep a reminder to myself. And also let Google search engine know that SP Blogger has new content now. 
Mudajaya target price was downgraded by CIMB Securities from RM 4.81 to RM 4.00. OSK Research maintains Mudajaya target price at RM 3.94 (upgraded on last research report). Around 75% upside but no one seem willing to buy Mudajaya stock. Why?

Google Panda… You won’t be unfamiliar with Google Panda if you are a blogger who focus much on blog traffic. Google implemented new search algorithm called Google Panda back in end of February 2011. It affect English Google search engine result in US only. Then rolled out to international Google search engine in April 2011. Lot of low quality websites are affected. Some websites gain lot of traffic and some lost. And I noticed some of the Malaysia blogs also are affected with it. From time to time, Google released Google Panda 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 releases. Do they help to improve some of the lost traffic blogs?

Apparently no, based on above graphs from DoubleClick Ad Planner. These websites do not seem to recover from Google Panda attacks. Same apply to me.

Lost is lost… I did not manage to gain back those pages which rank top in the first page of Google search engine. I tried several methods but still failed to recover from Google Panda. So did Google Panda ‘kill’ pro blogger? No, at least for me. I still manage to gain back some traffic by writing more quality articles. Took me 5 – 6 months to fully recover. As I always said, article’s quality is the most important. Of course, writing popular keywords’ articles also help.

Err… Why other bloggers with much lesser traffic can get product to review? Not me with much higher traffic? Some of them only got 1/10 of my traffic and still selected as one of the reviewers. Hmm… One of the things that I suspected ~ location. Yup, I stay at Sungai Petani, Kedah in Malaysia. Far away from all the main events, head offices that located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. One of the PR guys told me that it is too far to send product for me to review. They need to pay extra insurance for the shipping.

Well, Sungai Petani is not like picture above. But it is a small town when compare to KL. However, it still has all the facilities like post office, public transport… So far, I only got 2 Malaysia companies that sent hardware for me to review ~ GPS Bay and Maxis. Surprisingly, companies in US and UK actually send more product than Malaysia. Look like I need to do more marketing locally…

Yeah… JayceOoi.com is getting highest monthly traffic on October 2011 since the last high on January 2011. Getting around 14k daily visits now. 6k short to my target ~ 20k daily visits. Still long way for Tribal Fusion 500,000 unique monthly visit requirement. Need to work hard…

As you can see from Page RPM (revenue per thousand impressions) column, United States is the highest paying Page RPM country in my top 10 estimated earnings. Follow by Malaysia which has almost the same page views amount but with much lesser Page RPM. Even United Kingdom and Australia’s Page RPM is higher than Malaysia. In order to earn more from Google AdSense, I should write articles based on countries like United States, Australia and United Kingdom. Rather than Malaysia. And definitely won’t focus on India’s topics because it has the lowest Page RPM.
