Search… Search… Search… We cannot live without searching in this information edge that full with lot of precious information. Google search engine is the best out there. I wish to integrate it into WordPress long time ago due to WordPress blog search engine is not perfect. I cannot find the stuff that I want most of the time.

Google Custom Search

I took half day to change the blog theme. Created Google Custom Search for JayceOoi.com and spBlogger.com. Integrated it to WordPress then. You should be able to get more accurate data with Google Custom Search’s help now. And I can make some money from AdSense for Search too (if someone click on the ads). Will come out a guide to install Google Custom Search and AdSense for Search soon. Stay tuned…

I used WP-PostViews WordPress plugin by Lester Chan on JayceOoi.com and spBlogger.com. It is a WordPress plugin that display how many times a post had been viewed. The question ~ is it good for you?

As a SEO blogger… What will you do when you see a post that has lot of page view? For me? I will research on the post title keywords popularity. And start my own post on it. Will you do the same too?

By the way, WP-PostViews has the ability to show the most view posts of all time. I stopped using it because of this. πŸ˜‰

I created “Share it” like below on 17 October 2009. I told myself to put it there for at least 1 month to see the result.

Share it

So how is the result? Well, not much traffic from this so call ‘Share it’. Therefore, I removed it immediately to save some layout space. Hmm… Why nobody want to share it? Can you tell me why? πŸ˜‰

Does your blog have lot of Digg or Stumble Upon traffic hits? And your web hosting cannot take that hits and crash. Fear no more. WP Super Cache WordPress plugin comes to rescue.

HostMonster CPU Limiting Factors (Throttling)

Some said that HostMonster CPU Limiting Factors (Throttling) data is not accurate. I tried WP Super Cache for 1 day. It does reduce CPU usage a little bit but not much. Why? My blogs don’t have many hits from SU and Digg. So far, I only got around 80 cache pages. Let’s monitor when I get more traffic hits.
