Do you change Google Webmaster Tools crawl rate? Increase or decrease its speed? Don’t increase it if you don’t have fast web server like the one that I use ~ HostMonster. Hehe. Just kidding. But by increase the crawl rate, Googlebot will visit your website more. Therefore, do make sure that your web server can manage that.
Google Webmaster Tools custom crawl rate will last for 90 days only. And you need to reconfigure it again then. For my case, I will need to update it on 19 January 2010. I missed around 2 weeks as the custom crawl rate expired on early this month. 
What will faster crawl rate does? More pages will be indexed in Google search database. So do you want to increase Google Webmaster Tools crawl rate?

I increased the crawl rate to 60 second. Did tried 30 second before but it’s making my blog running slow
30 seconds slow down your blog? I set to 2 seconds only. Did not notice anything…
