I receive lot of spam comments lately. They managed to slip through Akismet spam filtering. Something likes “I would prefer Infolinks over Kontera because they pay much better.” Hmm… Did Infolinks have something to do with it?

Got these 2 comments on different blogs. Both coming from the same IP but with different name and email address. Look like spam comments to me. So I spammed them.
How to block WordPress spam comments? Do install Akismet plugin on your blog. It will help filter a lot of spam comments. One or two spam comments might slip through from time to time. But Akismet plugin does block most of them. You can help Akismet too by identify spam comments by spam it.

Business Development Manager at Kontera, Aaron Seligman contacted me. And offered the ability to create some higher tier revenue deals and believe Kontera can surpass my current Infolinks earnings. Wow… This is good. A better revenue is always good right? I logged into Kontera. Nothing had changed. I still cannot see my historical earning which more than 6 months. But they added additional revenue column which uses to display promotional bonuses, affiliate revenue, and adjustments outside of normal earnings. Anyway…

I love competition. We publishers will get better revenue from it. Can Kontera offer ~ 30 day trial at 70% revenue share beats Infolinks earning? I did not try it yet. Does anyone try it?
Yes, I have no regret to sign up Infolinks last year. I dumped nonperforming Kontera ContentLink at the same time too. Made a correct decision back then. Why? The Infolinks earning is way better than Kontera Contentlink. Just got latest payment from Infolinks.
3rd Infolinks payment
Another good news from Infolinks. It lowered the payment threshold to $50. Yeah… I can get monthly payment from now on (if Infolinks does not let me down). By the way, I don’t like to see in-text ads. How about you? Therefore, I set Infolinks max number of links per page to 3 only. In this case, hope that it is not too much and and annoying. 
I asked, “Infolinks ~ a better In-Text advertising in town?” when I started to use it. YES. I can answer it now. I just received my first payment from Infolinks via PayPal.

Are you still using Kontera ContentLink? If yes, you might want to try out Infolinks. It does bring a lot more revenue to me. It will do the same to you too. Enjoy make money online…
I have been using Infolinks since March 2009. It is better than Kontera definitely. In another 2 months, I should be able to get my first Infolinks payment. It will take me more than 1 year in order to get Kontera payment.
How to optimize the Infolinks earning? Here is what I set in Infolinks Integration Guide.
- Set the Highlight Color same as the hyperlink of your website
- Double/Single Underline – Set as double underline
- I only allow 3-5 Max Allowed Number of Highlighted Links per Page
- Content Category – select the best category that match your website
- Use the On/Off HTML comment tags to show ads at your post content only
